La Fiesta Tech, Week 4, Part 1

It's time to go back to school. College, to be specific. In this house, we have three sims.



Keren Black, daughter of old Jonah Black, a fortune Scorpio who wants to be a doctor. She hasn't been paired up with anyone yet, aside from briefly dating newspaper boy Alon as a teen, so I'll introduce her to a few people and see what happens.



Naomie Nettles, one of the Nettles triplets, a fortune Aries who wants to get into the Hall of Fame. Not paired up yet either, but I have some thoughts about that... If they pan out.



And Shayelle Cooper, daughter of Terrence Cooper, a family Scorpio who wants to be a cop. She's spoken for, because she has three bolts with...



... Alon Livingston, Keren's old high school sweetheart. Fortunately, Keren doesn't mind at all. Even if she does occasionally roll up a want to fall in love with Alon.

But the focus during their first two years of college wasn't on romance - it was on exploring my two new EPs, OFB and Seasons. Since college often feels so sloooow, why not use that time productively? I planted a couple of fruit trees outside - there wasn't really room for more - and bought one of each of the four work stations.



Shayelle started with the flower bench, and with the added fall bonus, it didn't take her very long to earn a gold badge. The first snapdragon was plunked down right there in the badge room, of course, so she could produce more of them!



Naomie chose to focus on robotics - even if all of them did a little of everything - and after what seemed like an eternity compared to the flower bench, finally got her gold badge. Then she spent another eternity making a servo... which, of course, she can't activate until she moves back to Strawberry Fields.



Keren took to the makeover chair, and had a lot of fun with it. (If only it didn't take so long to load each makeover...) Sometimes the new looks were perfectly suited for her customers.



And sometimes they were complete failures, like this clown here.

Although it does kinda suit him...



HEY! I don't care how wrong your makeover went, you do NOT raise your hand to my sim!

Just for that, I'm going to "fix" you. Get back in that chair, mister!



And he... likes it? Huh, go figure.



Oh dear... Naomie has three bolts for Paul Ryan. At least when she's in formalwear or underwear to match his turn-ons...



To distract herself from her feelings for a married man, she bought a business - Just Flowers And More. Here they sell all the extra things they produce on their crafting benches, and gain business-related badges while they're at it.



Uh-oh. During a summer thunder storm, lightning struck the hot tub with this guy in it. I know you can't see him very well, but for anyone who's played LFT, he's the Kennedy Cox clone with a ponytail. Although he'd been given a makeover - that's why he was around - so he no longer has the ponytail.

I told Naomie to come put the fire out, but... Um. It looks like our little fortune sim is more interested in saving the hot tub than the dormie. (Let's pretend that it wasn't because my targetting was off, okay?)



Hey, girls? Someone just died on your lot.

"Yeah, that's sad. Who wants to play chess?"

Oookay. Well, bye-bye, Kennedy clone.



This picture is from the next thunder storm. I just missed the actual lightning bolt - this is one second later - but it hit the headstone dead on, if you'll pardon the pun.



Kennedy-clone immediately popped out, and he was not happy. Don't ask me why he's bald on top. An effect of the lightning? Don't ask me why he's pretending to be family, either, because I know for a fact he was romance when he was alive...



But he goes after the girls with a vengeance, scaring them repeatedly and floating around the house cracking his knuckles all night long. I haven't seen him since, though, so the headstone gets to stay, for now. I can always put my knowledge sims here, they enjoy seeing ghosts...


By the end of their sophomore year, all three held 4.0s, were Greek House members, secret society members, and big sims on campus.




"The place is clean, see you tomorrow."

What? Wait! What do you mean the place is clean - don't maids pick up books on the floor anymore? Sigh. You just can't get decent help these days, can you?



Someone send the streaker to see a dentist!
