Terrence and Sharlene Cooper left their little starter home for a new place this week. After all, once their daughter Shayelle returns from uni a second master bedroom will be necessary, and then there will be a grandkid or two - Shay is a family sim, after all. This place has room to grow.
Aww, the first thing they do after arriving is exchange a light kiss. They're so cute.
Unfortunately, pretty boring as well. This was the calm round I had expected at the Bonaccord house, except more so - all about working, skilling, and badging. Terrence is in medicine, his second career, and getting close to the top. Sharlene is a Hall of Famer.
Even though Terrence spent every night stargazing - until he got too old to get pregnant in case he had been abducted - nothing happened. Of course it didn't. He's a knowledge sim, and knowledge sims don't get abducted in Strawberry Fields.
Because she hasn't been stuck stargazing every night, Sharlene has a lead on her husband when it comes to skilling. The last skill she maxed was cleaning - and now she's done!
Well, with her skills maxed, she needs something else to do, right? Let's try the makeover chair.
And of course they have a garden.

They got into the garden club early on, but the score wasn't all that good. By the weekend, Sharlene felt the garden was good enough to invite them over for a second inspection.
Yay! My first wishing well!
I had added lots of statues and stuff to see if that helped get the score up, but the only things the garden club commented on were garden lights, water plants, and the fountain. They like fountains.
And that's the end of this week for this branch of the Cooper clan.
Points this round: 3, for Sharlene's impossible want.
"Hi-yah! I'll catch up to my wife, you can count on that! I will max those skills!"

Knowledge Sims, I love 'em, so easy to get their impossible want (well, compared to say 30 Loves!) But I agree with you, they are so boring.
Nice new house by the way, and well done on getting your first wishing well. I don't use mine half as much as I thought I would, it somehow feels a bit like cheating. Although I feel fine taking the money, it takes some of the accomplishment out of having to make 30 friends, or 30 loves.
Anyway, another great update, well done!

Congrats on the wishing well! Yep they like fountains and sculptures. The garden club is materialistic.
