Last week Renee and Timothy were all alone in this house, and as a result pretty much bored me to death. Now, with the return of their younger son Jackson and his bride-to-be, Kayla Dante, thing should get more interesting.
The first thing that happens is that the older son, Ronan, aka Face, wanders by autonomously. He's greeted and invited in, of course, so he can catch up with the rest of the family.

Jackson, knowledge sim that he is, wants to know all about his brother's unexpected pregnancy.
No, Jackson, I don't think that's how it happened...
The following day is a good one for the Black household, career-wise. Kayla here becomes Chief of Staff, Timothy is named Captain Hero...
... and Jackson fulfills his LTW by becoming a mad scientist.
He celebrates by maxing his body skill, running the obstacle course in the snow. It's a pretty cold spring, apparently.

Renee was close to the top of her career, too, but managed to get a bad chance card which lost her two charisma points, and therefore cost her the promotion she was due. She had to wait another day to reach permaplatness - but she did eventually get it.
Kayla fulfills her LTW and IW by maxing all her skills.
Timothy throws a party, and everybody spends it fishing, which seems to be a hit.

The next morning, Jackson and Kayla celebrate a small, private dawn wedding. She's pretty sure she's expecting their first child.
And as the sun rises, they kiss for the first time as husband and wife.
Timothy and Renee have taken up gardening, and become the first members of the garden club in Strawberry Fields.
The Blacks continue to have bad luck with chance cards, as Jackson's new career in music first costs him two charisma points, and the next day §18,000. But it doesn't keep him from becoming a rock god in the end.
Please welcome little Marina to the family! She has Kayla's brown hair, and Jackson's dark blue eyes.
Not to mention an unnerving habit of turning her head to stare right at me. Why isn't she looking at her mother, like babies are supposed to?
Points this week: 9. One for Marina, three for Kayla's IW, and five for TOCs - Timothy in law enforcement, Renee in slacker, Kayla in medical, and Jackson in science and music.

This was so fun to read for me--in my game, Jade Knight moved home with her dad, and married Jackson Black...and Janson married--wait for it--Kayla Dante! Guess those families are meant to be intertwined, one way or another.
These guys were really successful this week--way to go!
Love baby Marina - it's so cute the way she stares at the camera. I wonder if she'll be a mirror looker when she's a teen? Some kids are natural posers, and shine in front of a camera.
