Let's see how the Ryan-Carr family is doing.

Aww, look how happy Barbara and Joe are!

Gee, Will, I almost get the feeling you don't like Sasha very much...

Jennifer loses her job due to a bad chance card - shouldn't mess with the boss-man's experiments! - but doesn't seem to mind very much. Lucky it wasn't one of the fortune sims!

Barbara is such a fortune sim, she even goes to work in her maternity wear! (I know this is an everyday thing for those of you who have OFB, but since I don't, I've never seen it before.) Okay, what actually happened was that she got the belly pop just as she was going off to work. Didn't seem to bother her.

Actually, she had a very easy pregnancy altogeher, and used her maternity leave to max out her body skill, among other things.

Will seemed to have one bolt for every girl he met - until Nina Nettles came into his life. They fell head over heels for each other.

They shared their first kiss, went steady, and dated a lot. They're planning to go to college together once they've collected a few scholarships - Nina is a fortune sim, after all.

What's this - twins? That makes two sets of twins born in a row. And of course it's two girls again... Meet Frannie and Sabrina, both of whom have exactly their mother's coloring. Too early to tell about anything else yet.

Funny bed glitch.

We're now at the Cantrell house, where Jessamyn has a fairly easy pregnancy as well. Maybe she did all her throwing up on other lots; I remember her dirtying every bathroom in the Nettles home.

"I heard charcoal is good for the baby." Uh, not so sure about that, Jess. But then what do I know about sim pre-natal care?

It's a girl! (Well, of course it is. This is the 13th child born or adopted since I started Strawberry Fields, and only two of them have been boys.) A DNA test reveals Romulus Bonaccord to be her father, so Jessamyn names her Rhea.

Then she gives him a call. "Hey, I just built myself a bedroom. Wanna come over and check it out?" Of course, he's not going to turn down an invitation like that! So they flirt a little, dance a little... By the time they make it to the bedroom, he has eyes for nothing but her.

It's only after the woohoo that he notices the crib in the corner, and then he suddenly remembers there's somewhere he has to be. "I'll call you," he promises. Yeah, right.

Jessamyn decides she doesn't need Romulus, she can raise Rhea on her own. Well, the nanny can do it, while Jess is at work getting three promotions in two days. She's been lucky with the nanny - she actually takes good care of the baby!

And of course, there are other sims in the sea. Looks like Ethan Cooper has been forgiven for cheating on her.

Unfortunately, when the kid grows up, it turns out she has no chin. None. How did that happen? Both her parents are CAS sims, and pretty good-looking ones at that. Is it the number 13 playing tricks on me? Poor little Rhea. She also has such an extreme personality you'd think she was an alien - Virgo, 10/2/10/3/10.

By the end of the week, Jessamyn found herself once again bonding with the toilet. She's only a promotion or two away from her LTW, but it may be awhile before she can go to work again...

Kiana Knight celebrated her arrival at university by chopping off her hair. She seemed to like the result. Other than that, her first year pretty much consisted of studying, gaining skill points, and dating Adam Nottington.

Her sister Kora worked out a lot, and searched the campus for her soulmate.

No, Kora, I am not letting you marry the cow mascot! You only have one bolt for him, anyway - and I took a peak at what's under that costume. It's not pretty.

Popularity sim that she is, Nadia Nettles was thrilled to be living the sorority life. So many potential friends! Nobody so much as raising an eyebrow if you wanted to look a little... different.

If Nadia saw college as a chance to go wild, it had the opposite effect on Paige Antonius. With no parents around to rebel against, she ditched the black leather in favor of a more conservative outfit.

She was friends with Paul Ryan, but since they only had one bolt, I wasn't planning to hook them up. But when she invited him over, this was how she greeted him. And whattaya know, they had two bolts! Then I remembered that I'd changed Paul into his formalwear suit to get rid of that mafioso look, and that formal clothes is one of Paige's turn-ons...

So I gave in and let them fall in love. If she re-rolls well, they can get married; if not, he can be one of her lovers until he meets the right girl.

To sum up their freshman year - lots of pizza, and lots of studying.

It's nice to know how others are doing with these families.

I think it is the Bonacorrd genes that caused Rhea's chin. I have the same problem with the Bonacorrd offspring in my game. Both Bonacorrd brothers married to good looking women (Pania and Moana Te Waiata) but that same chin is showing up. I've got a picture of one of the kids in my Pottsville blog. I don't think it is the Te Waiata genes - I'll know for certain when Maui and Aroha start producing children.

Anyway I did a little cheaty thing one day to see what they would as adults. I saved the game and used Boolprop to grow one up to adulthood and then quit without saving. The adult version was much better looking!

Which is just as well because I changed Romulus and Moana Bonacorrd to family with the orb and was planning to go for the family IWs with them to compensate...

Great update. I love when my pregnant sims can sneak to work on the first day sometimes. It is a 50/50 shot. :)

Hmmmm...I'm interested to see if Paige and Paul stay together. Isn't it interesting to see when they have a sudden change of heart towards a sim? Going from one bolt to two just may seal the deal for those two!

Wow! Paige sure looks different. I hope the Bonacorrd genes aren't screwy. Those men are so hot!

For sims I mean.
