Nottington and Dante, week 2.

With Adam off at university, and Isabella living with her new husband, Joel Cooper, nothing much happened at the Nottington home this week. I fast-forwarded about twice as much as I normally do.

Lexie went steady with her boyfriend Zion. He dropped off some nice gifts for her.

She talked to her friends on the phone, she went to school, she worked, she studied for scholarships.

And she slept. Oh, the drama! Can't you feel the excitement? I can barely tear myself away, but there are the Dantes to face...

In contrast to Lexie's quiet life, something is always happening here.

Monday night, little Marlee had a birthday. She's a strong-willed young lady, who adores Daddy Amin and wants to be just like him. She couldn't quite pull off the dreads - wrong hairtype, I think - so this was a compromise.

That same night, Amin was elected Mayor of Strawberry Fields, which makes him the first permaplat sim in the neighborhood. Apparently, he's unhappy with the helicopter that's supposed to take him to work...

... so he decides he wants to become a policeman instead.

I wonder if Liza has told him she wants to be a criminal mastermind?

Hmm, maybe sending Sasha out to greet the headmaster wasn't such a good idea...

But he seems to get along just fine with Leeland.

In the middle of the headmaster visit, the twins decide to grow up.

He seems thrilled to be included in such an important family event. The Dantes get into private school, which pleases Aston and Kayla, since they both rolled knowledge. (Yay!)

Aston still likes orange.

Kayla. With three extreme slobs for siblings, she and Sasha are constantly mopping bathroom floors. Good thing they seem to enjoy it...

With five kids already, Liza doesn't really want or need another one, but I feel bad for poor Amin... Besides, I know he secretly has red hair, and I'm a sucker for red hair. He spends pretty much all night, every night, stargazing. Maybe I'll get lucky and he'll be abducted?

Uh, no, that's not Amin... Leeland was just trying to get that last logic point needed for his scholarship, and this happens.

Oddly enough, the females of the family all have a memory of Amin being abducted, too. One or two of them even have three abduction memories in a row - one for Leeland, two for Amin. Weirdness. It's only the females, though - the guys know better.

Oh, what a lovely swan dive!

He is not amused. Maybe he senses that he's now doomed to have at least one alien child when he's grown up - poor romance sim!

Amin and Liza finally get around to tying the knot. Of course this means Amin wants a wedding party - he is a pop sim, after all.

Aston, Sasha, Leeland, Marlee, Joe Carr, Marisa Knight, and Jonah Black witness the ceremony. I think Kayla was in the kitchen, eating. She and her mother still don't get along.

Sasha and Leeland celebrate their mother's wedding by having a brawl. It's their first - I've been able to keep them both too busy up until now, but I took my eyes off them for a few seconds to make sure the party was a success, and this was the result.

Isn't it lovely of Aston to cheer them on?

The potty talk never stops in this family. With Aston a teenager, Marlee has taken his role.

Oh for goodness' sake, Liza, don't encourage her!

Let's check in on the boys at Fruhm Fraternity, and see how they've managed their freshman year.

Javier Vega is determined to laze his way through college. I guess after struggling to raise his five young siblings, he deserves a break. He has barely opened a book, but then that's where influence points come in...

Ronan Black has earned the nickname "Face." I tried to give him a different look, but he kept booing or covering his eyes. When I put the face paint back, he cheered. I guess it was meant to be.

Paul Ryan seems to be trying to join the mob, judging by his clothes. Maybe Mama Barbara hasn't managed to shield him well enough from his Soap Opera Villainous Father's influence after all.

Adam Nottington doesn't do the single thing. He immediately invites Kiana Knight over (from the sorority house you can see in the background) and even though neither of them has feelings for the other at the moment, he lays a big smooch on her. Ahh, three-bolt couples. By the next day, they're engaged.

Spending some time at the gym. Notice the identical gym clothes that Adam, Face and Javier are wearing. I wonder if that's some kind of fraternity rule they've made?

Paul prefers making valuable connections to sweating on a treadmill. This girl is a secret society member.

Hey guys, how about some originality?

Those aliens must have been toying with the memories of the women, huh? At least Leeland will have a greater chance of an abduction later in life--so you could get an alien baby from him!

Felicia...where did you get Armin's hair? I have been looking for dreads like that. Now, to go back and read the rest. *smile*

I'll just stick Leeland in an Electro Dance Sphere when he's an adult, and he can conceive that way! :D

The dreads are by Compulsive D, hosted at Simpathetic. Lots to choose from there!

Ahh, the Dantes are so much fun, fighting during their mom's wedding, nice. Sasha gets nicer in college, it's strange, her nice points don't increase, but she isn't all mean anymore

Love the fraternity. Definately thinking about having one in my challenge. And a sorority too of course!
