At the Knight house, Marisa was very pleased when she reached the top of her career. Mad Scientist alert! But she's not one to rest on her laurels - it's quickly on to the next career, the one she's really dreamed of.


Uh, Marisa, isn't that car a bit conspicuous for a bank robber? Oh well, at least it's black.


The twins had a birthday. Jade here is a Scorpio, with the usual 6/5/8/3/3 personality. She rolled fortune, with make-up and red hair as turn-ons, and custom hair as a turn-off. Her LTW is to be a business tycoon.


I wasn't wild about the shirt Janson grew up into, but I decided to go with it. He really liked this look! He's a Libra, 2/8/2/6/7, and a family sim - just like all his older siblings. Seems the Knights only do fortune and family... Janson is attracted to girls with custom hair. He also likes them to use cologne, because stink is just so off-putting.


He's the king of the dance floor!


Jade thinks Rebecca Forsythe is very sexy. Down, girl - that's your brother's girlfriend! We'll find you your very own special lady, just give it some time.


"Morning, bro!" Tavarez and Janson don't mind sharing a room at all. They get along just fine. At least Janson isn't lusting after Rebecca - that probably helps.


Poor Marisa works so hard to get her promotions that when she comes home from work, all she can think about is collapsing into bed.


If you really want that Tsang Footwork Award, even dancing with your brother will do. Jade is all about the scholarships, and earning money.


Kiana comes home from college for Sunday dinner with the family. For whatever reason, Orlando Centowski shows up as well. Doesn't anyone know about him two-timing Kora with Jennifer Ryan, and then two-timing Jennifer with Rosario Vega?

Clearly, the Knights have a thing for the color blue.




Over at the Black home, Timothy and Renee amuse themselves in their usual way. Despite rolling up constant wants to fall in love with Ethan Cooper (who she made friends with when I was playing the Coopers) Renee has so far been faithful to her husband.


Jackson went downtown to see if he could find himself a nice girl. He was already friends with Jennifer Ryan - two bolts - but I wanted to take a look at his options before making any decisions.

Which turned out to be a good thing, when he took one look at Kayla Dante and did this. He hadn't even met her yet, but already had the option to slow dance or sweet talk.


Aww, they're so in love! Yep, they're a three-bolt couple. Two knowledge sims, gotta love it.


"Do you mind? We're trying to make out here!"
"No, I don't mind at all. Please, go ahead!"

I think Nadia Nettles may be a voyeur.


Thanks to Timothy's schmoozing skills, Jackson got into private school with a vengeance. 131 points - not too shabby!


Maybe all that woohooing wore them down. First Timothy came home from work with the flu; then the next day it was Renee's turn. Fortunately they both got well quickly.

It wasn't the flu that had me screaming at the computer, though. It was this:


Here I've had Timothy and Jackson taking turns at the telescope pretty much all night, every night - and when Renee needs a logic point for her next promotion, she's the one who gets abducted! That won't get me any green babies, darnit. I want green babies!


And of course father and son had very different reactions to the abduction. Jackson is a knowledge sim, after all! He spent the rest of that night trying to spot the spaceship through the telescope, waiting for his mother's return. Or perhaps he was hoping the aliens would realize their mistake and come back to get him?

The next day, Renee left her science job (one rung from the top) to work as a projectionist. Sigh. Well, being a professional party guest is her LTW, after all; the science job was only meant to be temporary, but temporary became pretty permanent somehow.

At La Fiesta Tech, all four girls in the sorority became secret society members and big women on campus. Paige here did both at once, as you can see. Why waste time that could be better spent on romance?


And the name fun at the SS continued. Here's Kiana Knight with a young lady named... Felicia. Wasn't that nice of me? Not that I look anything like her. And I'm not quite that easy to persuade to do someone else's term paper for them, either!


Despite decent cooking skills, the girls managed to set the stove on fire twice. Nadia seems a bit slow to realize that she's in danger; that chili must be something else, to make her unaware of the flames.


Other than that, the most interesting issue was choosing a mate for family sim Kora. She seemed to have two bolts for half the guys she met! I was about to hold a vote, but decided to try something first. She invited several options over to scope the room and see who she liked the most. From left to right we have here Sam Scott, cafeteria worker; Ravi Custer, barista; Jake Baity, downtownie; and her professor, Pao Danaher. All except Jake (knowledge) are family sims.


Not only did she pick Ravi out of the crowd, but they now had three bolts for each other as well, which settled the matter in my book. Typically enough, he also has three bolts for her twin sister Kiana - but since Kiana is engaged to Adam, whom she also has three bolts for but Kora only two, that's not going to matter. I hope.


Anyone else think these two aren't appreciating living in the desert? Hey, Paige and Kiana - it's not like the weather is any different back home!


And last but not least, Paige Antonius re-rolled her aspiration to popularity. Not exactly my favorite, but I guess she's now really going to marry Paul Ryan.

Lots of happenings at the Coopers and Vegas this week!

Old Fred Cooper had always had a soft spot for Andrea Hogan, and when he heard how cruelly she had been used and discarded by that romancer Nolen Nettles, he saw his chance. He offered her his shoulder to cry on, he told her she deserved better, he asked her out on a date, and immediately after their first woohoo, he asked her to marry him. She accepted happily.


Andrea is a fortune sim, Capricorn, 7/4/1/8/5, with a LTW of being a criminal mastermind one day. That could get interesting, since her step-son Joel is in law enforcement... She started out printing money at home, and promptly got caught.


You'd think that would clue Joel in that something was up, but he seems completely clueless. Can you believe TPTB in Strawberry Fields actually promoted this sim to Captain Hero? Well, he did blow the whistle on those dirty cops, but still... He happily stares through his telescope rather than pay any attention to what his new step-mother is doing behind his back.


Maybe turning into Saturn, complete with rings, will slow her down a little...


"I'm such a stud! I've woohooed with 20 different women!" Actually, Ethan, you've only woohooed with 10, but since public woohoo counts double... Well, he's happy. And now he wants to be a professional party guest, so isn't it nice that he just happens to be in the slacker career?

Very nice. Especially when he makes 75K off a home video about bunny rabbits. Way to go, Ethan! A couple days later, Joel gets all competitive and earns 50K when he catches a giant robot running wild. The Coopers are doing well.


Here's a funny thing that happened. The third brother, Terrence, was over for a visit to meet his new baby brother. That night one of Ethan's conquests showed up to drop off a gift - a hot tub - and Terrence seemd to know what she was bringing, because he actually got into the hot tub before it even appeared... I missed getting a pic of that exact moment, unfortunately, but here she's cheering for her gift while Terrence is already making himself comfortable.


Speaking of that baby brother - here's Fred and Andrea's son, Hogan. Another snazzy toddler, this time in white. I guess, unlike everyone else in the 'hood, Fred only produces boys? In any case, he was very happy and spent every moment with his new son, constantly rolling up wants to snuggle him, play with him, teach him to walk, talk and go potty... Perhaps because he knew his time with the boy would be limited.


Andrea was painting a portrait of Fred, to have something to remember him by when he passed on; and moments after it was finished, guess who arrived?


"It's time, Fred Cooper. Step through the door." Awww, I'm going to miss him! Fred died in platinum, with a full influence meter.


Ethan was heartbroken. I guess he's remembering how much his dad wanted to see him settled down with one woman, maybe give him some grandkids, but Ethan never gave him that, and now it's too late...


Poor little Hogan cried all the time for his daddy, and didn't understand why he wasn't there anymore. Joel fought back his own grief and vowed to be a father figure in his little brother's life.


With all that bonus money, the Cooper brothers built a mausoleum to put their father's urn in. If you're feeling lonely, Fred, don't worry, you won't be for long...


Because Isabella is getting up in years. She's throwing a party just about every day to stay in platinum, but aside from that, she's not doing much besides sitting in her favorite chair or blowing bubbles. Now Andrea is painting her portrait...



Over to the Vegas, where Rosario is now responsible for the quadruplets. She takes time off sometimes to date Orlando Centowski. Hit him harder, Rosario! He's a tramp who has dated half the family-oriented girls in the neighborhood!


On the other hand, he has provided all those girls with a lot of aspiration points and date gifts... And I do have a serious lack of boys in the 'hood... Okay, he may just get to go to uni with you, so maybe you should be nice to him after all.

This family is just adorable. Off at college, Javier constantly has a fear of losing one of them as his best friend, and when the quads came home from school the first day after he left, all four of them had a want to "call Javier to chat." All together now: Awwwww!

And they're finally teenagers.


Dolores Vega, Scorpio, 6/5/8/3/3. She rolled pleasure, her turn-ons are blond hair and formalwear, but she's not really into hats. Her LTW is to have 50 dream dates.


Carmen Vega, Gemini, 4/7/8/3/3. She's a popularity sim who dreams of being a famous chef, with her own show on the Yummy Channel. Her turn-ons are facial hair and glasses, and her turn-off is grey hair. (Hmmm, blonde, popularity, Gemini... I may just have a future match for her.)


Mercedes Vega, Gemini, 4/7/8/3/3. She's romance, like big bro Javier. Fortunately she has a career-related LTW; she wants to be a Hall of Famer. She likes fit sims with custom hair, but disapproves of facial hair - it scratches her skin! She's also sick of people telling her that redheads shouldn't wear pink.


Daniel Vega, Gemini, 1/10/9/1/4, which actually makes him the quadruplet with the most nice points. I'm not sure if it makes up for that extreme sloppiness, though... He's a fortune sim, with a LTW of being a business tycoon one day. He likes black hair and stink, but not fitness.


Mama Sofia makes an appearance one night. Her children seem to sense her presence... Even before she starts to scare them.


I've never seen another ghost do this. Maybe it's because my sims normally die of old age? In any case, in between scaring her kids, Sofia went around re-enacting her death, over and over again - she'd clutch her throat, collapse to the ground begging for someone to help her... Then she'd be back on her feet again, looking for someone to take out her anger on.

These kids have a hard enough time without dealing with that, so Sofia was sent to Gothier Green Lawns to hang out with the other placeholders.


Pleasure seeker that she is, Dolores quickly finds herself someone to date. This is Serdar Wade, a downtownie pleasure teen. They're very cute together (even if she really prefers blondes).


As soon as he grew up, Daniel started floating hearts all over the place for Nina Nettles. Since she's going steady with Will Ryan, Daniel had to settle for dating Sophie Miguel. Don't get any ideas about permanence, buddy - you're going to have to find yourself a girl from the 'hood eventually. Just wait until the Nettles triplets grow up, or your Forsythe friends, or Jade Knight, or maybe even the Antonius twins. Believe me, there are plenty of girls around!

Mercedes didn't get much romancing done, just a couple of dates with the ever-willing Ricky Cormier. She was too busy working for scholarships; here she's trying to earn one for her dancing. Oh dear...

By week's end, the quads had all their skill scholarships, as well as the orphan and A-plus ones. Daniel and Carmen also managed to reach top of their teen careers. Rosario is lagging a little behind, since she's never had the stuck smart milk effect, but she can catch up in college.




At La Fiesta Tech, all four frat boys got into the Secret Society in their sophomore year. Adam was the first, and really had no clue what this girl was going on about...


He did think the handshake was kinda fun once he was taught it properly, and helped get his pals in.


The LFT Society seems to have a weird thing going on with the last names of its members. Adam was greeted by these two, Jasmyn Fairchild (the blonde with the hat) and Suzie Landchild.


Later on, either Ronan or Javier met Kendra Chin and Richard Chun. It had me literally giggling. What can I say, I'm easily amused...


At the end of sophomore year, Javier decided that romance was not the right aspiration for him, after all. He's going to dedicate his life to make lots of money, instead, to make sure that he will never have to be poor again, and his children will never have to struggle as he did when growing up. His new LTW is to be a Business Tycoon - just like his brother Daniel back home.

(I tried to re-roll Ronan Black as well, but he got romance again. I guess some leopards never do change their spots...)
