Knight, Black, and Nettles!
Life at the Knights was pretty much what you'd expect in a house consisting of a father, his five children, and his new wife. The three teenagers dated. A lot. Since Tavarez and Kiana were already going steady with their respective love interests (Adam Nottington and Rebecca Forsythe) Kora was feeling left out. She wanted to go steady, too!

While they were on a date, her faithless boyfriend Orlando rolled up a want to go steady with Jennifer Ryan instead. Nice, buster! Then he apparently changed his mind and had one want to go steady with Jennifer, one to go steady with Kora... Some family sim. Hmph!

Did I mention that Marisa Bendett, now Knight, was a theorist when she joined the family? She really wants to be a criminal mastermind, but that can wait until she's managed that last promotion to reach the top of this career. She didn't get it this week, but she
did get a 50K bonus from a chance card, which they built this house with.

Oh, and they bought a bowling lane. The kids love it.

"Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him well... Wait, this isn't a skull!" Uh, okay Marisa. You're supposed to be working on your skills, not spouting poetry - even if it
is the Bard. Joe is working his way up the medical career ladder, and of course everybody's using his reward. It helped his two oldest daughters earn their mechanical scholarships for college.

With the new house, and Marisa's cooking skills, getting the kids into private school was a piece of cake. Joe was very happy, fortune sim that he is. Now he can tell all his friends at work that only the best is good enough for
his children.

Yeah, Tavarez, we know you're in private school - there's no need to stick your nose in the air like that!

This house belongs to the Black family. They're doing pretty well, too, but there wasn't much excitement going on.

Ronan keeps romancing the girls. Sasha Dante makes three. I like their matching mohawks!

Jackson enjoys the obstacle course that his dad brought home. Timothy is steadily earning promotions, and when he had the weekend off, spent most of his time gaining skill points and making friends.

Renee hasn't found a job in the slacker career, so she's still a scientist. Well, she's supposed to get to the top of two careers, anyway. She has also made friends with Marisa Knight after bringing her home from work one day. Then Marisa went and started a fight with the downtownie that Timothy had brought home from
his work. What is it with her and fighting?

Despite a decent mechanical skill, Timothy isn't very good at fixing a broken shower. It was worse off when he gave up than when he started.

Hello, Jackson! Goodlooking
and a knowledge sim! Since the neighborhood is overflowing with girls, he's going to have his pick. Maybe one of those family sims wanting lots of kids, so he can spread his genes around a bit...
At the Nettles home, Nolen decided to make the ultimate sacrifice for his granddaughters, and actually get married. Now that's love for you! So all that was left to decide was
who he should marry.

Jessamyn Cantrell was never really an option. For one thing, she clearly had no interest in leaving her cozy little house to take care of a bunch of kids that weren't even hers. For another, when Nolen invited her over on a date one day, she kept running to the bathroom to be sick. That wasn't much of a problem - it was easy to convince her to clean up her own mess, and then she just kept going and straightened out the rest of the place while she was at it. But Nolen had his suspicions about
why she was throwing up, and if he was right... No. Just no.

Andrea Hogan was a real possibility, though. Good chemistry, a fortune sim, got along well with the kids... Problem was, some careful questioning revealed that she didn't have that much money, or a very good job.

Who then, if not Andrea or Jessamyn, his only two lovers so far? That was when he met
Her.

Contessa Sadie Charvat. (Seriously, Contessa and Sadie just don't go together. It's just... weird.)

After assuring himself that the Contessa
does have a bit of money tucked away, Nolen takes her to the cemetary for ambience, then takes the plunge and proposes. She happily accepts - and then...

Bites him. Is that your idea of an engagement present, Sadie? (Best of all, guess what this pic was numbered in my file? 91bdead0. How appropriate!) Then she stalks off and bites someone else while he's waiting for the taxi to arrive. Now I'll have an outbreak of vampirism in the neighborhood...

They got married that night in the middle of the living room. Then he promptly called the matchmaker and bought two bottles of Vamprocillin.

Yes, Nolen, go ahead and drink it. The sun is on its way up!

You can take the vampire out of the girl, but you can't... uh... Never mind. Sadie stalks.

She brought in about 50K, so they built themselves a nice house. I like building houses when there's money to spend. Just for fun, let's take a peek.

Downstairs. Living room, a big kitchen, two bathrooms, and a master bedroom with attached nursery in the lower left corner. (Planning ahead, dontcha know.) They're a bit short on furniture at the moment, but they can keep adding more as time goes by.

Upstairs. Half unfinished, since I don't really know what I'll want to put there (career rewards, maybe?) but there are two bedrooms for the kids, and a bathroom.

Nina is a teenager! There's a clear family resemblance here... I don't seem to have any pics of her after her make-over, so that'll have to wait until next round. She rolled fortune.

Nadia, dating Ricky Cormier is freaky enough without you doing... whatever
that is!
Oh, and guess who the "someone else" was that the Contessa bit?

Meet Jan, the matchmaker vampire!
